Dr Shiba Parhi is Associate Professor in the Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management, Ahmadabad .
He completed his PhD from Aligarh Muslim, University under the guidance of Prof Khalid Azam of AMU, and Prof Venatashwarlu of NITIE , Mumbai in the field of Behavioral finance on topic: Behavior and approach of HNI Investors in the Indian Stock Market. He is working on research project in collaboration of Professors of IIM Ahmadabad, IIM Indore, NIT Rourkela and DePaul Universities, Chicago, US. He had worked on the mega event such as Kumbhamela operations, which is the world largest congregation of the 200 million people in the span of one month on different dates.
He has completed his PGDM with Finance and Marketing specialization. He has completed Advance Diploma in Finance Management from AIMA, Delhi. He had undergone 4 month FDPM program from IIM Ahmadabad followed by 1.5 year Research in two funded project of same institute. He was teaching five years in the Symbiosis School of Operation Management the subjects like: Advance Statistics, Advance Operations Research, Simulation and Modelling, etc. A resource person of General Electrical , India to teach Strategic Sourcing.
He had 3 years industries experience and 18 years of teaching experience in the field of Statistics, Multivariate analysis, Finance and Analytics, management Computing, Marketing Model. He is proficient in statistical software AMOS, R and Minitab.
His area of interest of Mathematical Finance, Behavioral Finance and Quantitative Modelling etc.
He has been teaching in the institutes such as Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management, Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance, Symbiosis School of Economics, Symbiosis School of Law, Pune, College of Engineering , Pune, National Institute of Agricultural Marketing, Jaipur, Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar . Empaneled Faculty of Corporate Training and Education division of Symbiosis International University, Pune ( SCCE).
He have experience of conducting MDPs and courses for the Middle Level and senior level professionals of Tata Motors, Jamshedpur, General Electrical, Pune, GSK, Nashik, Atlas Copco, Ceat tyres, etc.
